Professional Employer Organization (PEO) combines HR, payroll and benefits services . In some countries, the service coverage of PEO is different. In China, the PEO service covers payroll and mandatory benefits (social insurance, housing fund, individual income tax, disability fund, union fee) handling.

In China, each city has its own policies that are involved regarding payroll calculation and processing. That’s over 670 cities and 160+ policies that may impact payroll calculation and processing. Luckily, working with a professional payroll company can help you avoid this hassle. 

Mandatory contributions in China includes pension insurance, medical insurance, maternity insurance, unemployment insurance, work-related injury insurance (together, they are called social insurance), housing fund, individual income tax, disability fund and union fee (not 100% but almost mandatory).

Our PEO service covers payroll calculation and processing, policies updates and implementation, mandatory contribution handling including employee onboarding/off-boarding formalities, generation of required reports and access to our online portal to check e-paystubs. Upon request, we also offer commercial insurance services to manage employee welfare.

    1. Client Onboarding

    Collection of client’s information and introduction to HROne’s policies, procedures and online portal. 

    Work calendar, processes, templates, benefits & salary structures confirmed and loaded into the payroll system.

    2. Monthly Processing

    Communication of government policy changes (if any). Communication of payroll information and salary changes (if any).

    Monthly invoice generated & settled. HROne transfers employee salaries & updates online payroll portal.

    Social insurances, housing fund and income tax paid. Employee pay-slip and notification sent out.

    3. Year End Processing

    Work calendar for the coming year confirmed.

    Annual salary report prepared, confirmed and reported to the government  HR authorities.

    New government policies briefed (if any).

    4. End of Service

    Handover of accounts, materials and information. Off-boarding employees begins.

    Last invoice including historical balance, prepared and paid. Employees off-boarded. Accounts and material handed over to client.
